The Day I Almost Met Robert Downey Jr.Pre-Show
Today started like any other...but it wasn't. I was going to the premiere of the Avengers. I had gotten a dress and shoes for the grand event. My hair was even curled. As I sat in traffic listening to the Sherlock Holmes soundtrack (and sporting my purple lens "RDJ sunglasses"), I couldn't help but think about all the stars I would have the opportunity to see...especially Robert. I was extremely nervous as I pulled into the parking structure. After much searching, I found a parking spot. I wandered up to the main level of the mall and saw a huge sign that said "Avengers World Premiere". I instantly got goosebumps. I then quickly went to the highest floor to the mall and took pictures of the carpet below. I looked at my phone. It was almost time to meet up with my group. I ran back to my car to put my phone away (since it wasn't allowed in the theater) and found the meeting spot.
